guide post

rockin out to some new music yeah elvis presley blues cover by some chic down in the warmer Atlantic spots.  Found some other cool stuff today, this 12 string 'OCEAN' jam by John Butler, spoke to me in an interesting way  ...it's persistance reminded me of the ocean in a way that had a lot of meaning for my perspective on it.  it reminded me of untold stories it has; lives it's enriched and all which has called it home; it's geology and the way it changes, gives, and conquers.  I guess it might be a little more than what I first expected to feel from his music; JB can seem pretentious to me in the nostalgic sense.

Also found these other songs in a short documentary about a dude that lived on a sailboat in the west indies.  I liked the film but the music was what I kept for meaning.  These three songs,  'Money' by Acres and Acres was the first one I found, and left the best impression.  Another one in that film was called Old Pine and it's got the name Ben Howard tied in with it.  The last of the three songs was by a group I didn't know; Bahamas and it was called Lost in the Light.
